Tushar retired as the Chief Executive Officer of the Project and Structured Finance business, as well as Wholesale Lending, at Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. (ABFL), upon completing his tenure of superannuation on April 30, 2025. During his time at ABFL, he also held additional responsibilities as a director on the boards of Aditya Birla Asset Reconstruction Company Limited along with Aditya Birla Money Limited.

At ABFL, he was spearheading Large & Mid-corporate lending, providing customised project finance, structured finance solutions, and general corporate lending. At Aditya Birla ARC, he was responsible for the stressed assets/special situations platform set up in partnership with Varde Partners and mentoring the business growth and strategic initiatives. As a director on the board of Aditya Birla Money Ltd, his role involves mentoring the equity and debt stockbroking business. In addition, he was overseeing and leading the expansion and strategic initiatives of all three businesses.

Before joining Aditya Birla Finance, Tushar was the Chief Operating Officer of IL&FS Financial Services Ltd, where he was responsible for business development and managed debt assets of US$1.6bn. During his career at IL&FS, he held several roles in Capital Markets & Corporate Advisory Services.

Tushar holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Mumbai and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1988.
