Eros International Media Limited was originally incorporated on August 19, 1994 as a Private Limited Company as Rishima International Private Limited. On July 25, 2000, the name of the Company was changed from Rishima International Private Limited to Eros Multimedia Private Limited and again on November 20, 2008, the name was changed from Eros Multimedia Private Limited to Eros International Media Private Limited. Further, on September 16, 2009, the Company got converted into a Public Limited and the name was changed to Eros International Media Limited on November 18, 2009.
